Woman jailed for pouring hot water on Down syndrome patient!!
In Malaysia, a 39-year-old sales promoter has been sentenced to a decade bars for pouring hot water on a man with Down syndrome in an elevator on April 19.
The accused pleaded guilty and was also fined RM6,000.
The judge strongly condemned the act as cruel and inhumane, especially considering the victim’s vulnerability and the absence of provocation.
The incident occurred in Penang, leaving the 33-year-old victim hospitalized with burns on his right side.
Thankfully, he is now in stable condition, said the officials.
Police arrested the woman in the same apartment where she lived.
