Two Japan Airlines (JAL) planes accidentally collided in Tokyo!!

On May 23, at Haneda Airport in Tokyo, two Japan Airlines (JAL) planes accidentally collided.

The incident happened around 7:30 am when JAL Flight 503 was backing out of its parking spot.

The plane, carrying 328 passengers and crew, struck its left wing tip against the right wing tip of another JAL plane that was moving into an adjacent parking spot.

Fortunately, no one was hurt in the collision.

However, as a result, Flight 503, which was scheduled to fly to New Chitose Airport in Sapporo, Hokkaido had to be cancelled.

Both aircraft involved in the incident are Airbus A350-900 models.

The Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism along with Japan Airlines are investigating into the cause of the accident.
