Terrorist attack Three including the deceased soldier!!
Mysterious Gunmen attacked a border crossing in northern Benin, killing three people and injuring one.
The incident occurred at a customs post close to the Niger border late on April 16.
The mayor of Malanville, Gado Guidami, confirmed the attack but didn’t provide details on the motive of the attack.
Benin shares its northern border with Burkina Faso and Niger, where there are ongoing issues with insurgent groups connected to al Qaeda and Islamic State.
The attackers, who arrived on a motorcycle, opened fire, killing two civilians and a soldier.
Another soldier was wounded.
The mayor’s spokesperson, Cherif Babio, stated that an official notice about the attack would be issued to inform the public.
