Highway collapsed in southern china!! 24 killed!!
In southern China’s Guangdong province part of a highway to collapsed on May 1.
Sadly, at least 24 people died, and 18 vehicles were trapped in the wreckage said the officials.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene, with around dozen were injured individuals receiving treatment in the hospital, said the officials.
They added that the lives of those hospitalised were out of danger.
Around 500 rescuers were send to the site to help with the rescue operation.
The incident, labeled as a natural disaster, prompted road closures and detours.
This is one of several recent disasters in Guangdong due to the intense rainy weather.
