The victim lives with his 23-year-old sister and other siblings in the same apartment.
The woman and the victim person live in the same apartment.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
He suffered burns on the front and back of the right side of his body.
Although initially reported as acid splashing, it was actually hot water, said the officials.
The police are investigating the woman for her actions.
