A 22-year-old youth who was drunk and traveling by clinging to a truck loaded with cash!! Arrested within 2 hours!!
n the early hours of May 3, Singaporean police were busy loading their truck with cash on Queen Street.
They encountered a 22-year-old man, who was trying to get into their truck.
They told him to go away, but he didn’t listen.
Later, as they drove along, they spotted him clinging to the back of their truck.
They stopped the vehicle and the suspect quickly fled.
The police were alerted to the incident at about 4.20am.
They arrested the suspect within two hours along Stamford Road.
Now, the 22-year-old faces charges for being drunk in public.
If convicted, he could face up to six months in jail or a fine of up to S$1,000 or both.
