Two arrested in the gang that robbed 11 people!!

In a robbery at a house in King Albert Park near Dunearn Road on April 18, 11 people were robbed of cash and valuables worth over $4.3 million.

Two suspects, Goh Boon Tong, 28 and Muhammad Tauffiq Ahmad Fauzi, 32, from Malaysia, were caught and charged with robbery in a Singapore court on May 2.

The robbery involved armed men taking cash, including different currencies amounting to over $3.9 million, from a 29-year-old
woman.

They also robbed a watch valued at $320,000 and a Ferrari car key worth $400 from a 31-year-old man.

The robbers fled to Malaysia but were arrested and handed over to Singapore police on April 30.

Authorities are still searching for the other suspects.

Goh and Tauffiq will appear in court again on May 9.

If convicted of armed gang robbery, they could face up to 20 years in jail and at least 12 strokes of the cane.
