A Tanzanian cargo ship caught fire !! 12 crew members were rescued!!
A Tanzanian cargo ship caught fire near Singapore’s Pedra Branca on April 16.
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore said it was alerted to the blaze at 12.50pm.
All 12 crew members, mostly from Indonesia were rescued and taken to safety by Singapore authorities.
The ship was immobilized in Indonesian waters when the fire broke out.
No pollution was reported and there’s no danger to other ships.
Investigations by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore are ongoing.
